93rd Bomb Group Memorial Museum

Admission Charges: Donations to the museum

Based on the site of the former Hardwick airfield this small but interesting museum comprises of several Nissen Huts housing a wide range of artefacts from recovered wreckage through to uniforms and documents associated to the 93rd and 489th Bomb Groups.

Additional displays are often put on during open days and if you’re luck there may even be a flypast, keep an eye on the facebook page for the latest updates (link at bottom of page)

A further brick Mess Hall offers visitors a chance to reflect on their surroundings whilst sampling a selection of hot and cold refreshments.

The site has plenty of parking and is wheelchair accessible, however it should be noted that all building are set within grassed areas with no paved access, therefore in times of inclement weather access may become restricted.
